February 15: Saint Sigfrid was a priest from England who endured many tribulations to plant the seeds of the Gospel in Sweden.
February 23: In the year 155, Saint Polycarp the Bishop was burnt at the stake – though there was no odor of burning flesh: instead a smell of incense was in the air.
February 16: Saint Gilbert's generosity was legendary. He had such love for the less fortunate, that most of the alms received from his parishioners were donated to the poor.
March 5: Young Carlo gave early signs of seeking sanctity, which his family recognized and respected. Despite his young age, he was received into a Franciscan Monastery.
March 6: Left an orphan at seventeen, Colette distributed what little she had to the poor, and moved into a small hermitage and joined the Third Order of Saint Francis.

March 7: Saints Perpetua and Felicita were Holy Women and martyrs who gave their lives during the persecution under Roman Emperor Septimus Severus.
February 18: When Theotonius was ordained a priest, he lived most austerely, avoiding luxury. He was fearless in rebuking sinful behavior, in public or in private.
