November 16: Saint Gertrude the Great (January 6, 1256 – November 16, 1302) was a German Benedictine nun, mystic, and theologian.
January 2: Saints Basil the Great and Gregory Nazianzen, two friends who were pillars of orthodoxy during a period of chaos and confusion.
July 14: Saint Kateri converted to Catholicism in spite of persecution from the Mohawk tribe. She lived a life dedicated to prayer, penance and the care of the sick and the aged.
March 9: Saint Frances was accompanied by an Archangel for 23 years, and her virtues and miracles made her well known throughout Rome.
December 27: Saint John the Apostle was entrusted with the care of the Blessed Mother by Our Lord on the Cross, and author of the fourth Gospel and the apocalypse.
October 24: Deeply united to God, Saint Anthony Maria Claret was endowed with supernatural graces, ecstasies, the gift of prophecy, and the miraculous healing of bodies.
July 6: Saint Maria Goretti died resisting attempted rape. She appeared to her murderer who was imprisoned, and this brought about his conversion.
December 24: As a bishop, Saint Delphinus of Bordeaux became renowned for his vigilance in defense of the Truth. The saintliest princes of the Church at the time were honored to be counted amongst his friends.
