URGE President TRUMP To Enforce EXISTING Obscenity Laws

On December 6, four members of Congress, in a letter, have urged Attorney General William Barr to simply and urgently “declare the prosecution of obscene pornography a criminal justice priority and urge your US Attorneys to bring prosecutions against the major producers and distributors of such material.”
The letter asks the DOJ to Simply enforce already existing obscenity laws.
ALARMING Statistics:
Charisma News reports that:
- Eleven is the average age that a child is first exposed to porn, and 94 percent of children will see porn by the age of 14.
- 47 percent of families in the United States reported that pornography is a problem in their home.
- 68 percent of church-going men and over 50 percent of pastors view porn on a regular basis. Of young Christian adults 18-24 years old, 76 percent actively search for porn.
- Only 13 percent of self-identified Christian women say they never watch porn—87 percent of Christian women have watched porn.

- 93% of boys and 62% of girls had seen Internet pornography during adolescence.
- among college males, nearly 49% first encountered pornography before age 13.
- 64% of young people, ages 13–24, actively seek out pornography weekly or more often.
- Eleven pornography sites are among the world’s top 300 …most popular such site, at number 18, outranks the likes of eBay, MSN, and Netflix.
- The pornification of culture… from the grocery store checkout lane to advertising, popular entertainment, unsolicited email, and beyond. It’s becoming increasingly difficult—if not impossible—to live a porn-free life.
- Pornography use, to varying degrees, shapes the lens by which users view, interact, and construct the world.
