November 9: John Lateran, also called the "Church of Holy Savior" or the "Church of St. John the Baptist", is the Cathedral of the Diocese of Rome, or the Pope’s church.

November 10: Pope Saint Leo the Great defended the Church from barbarians and campaigned against heresy. His great deeds manifested the primacy of the Roman Church.

November 11: Saint Martin of Tours was a soldier in the Roman army who, after being released from military duties, became a monk, priest, and bishop.

November 14: Saint Laurence, Monk and Archbishop of Dublin, had over thirty poor people dine with him every night as an act of charity.

November 16: Margaret was a pious and virtuous English princess who fled England due to the Norman invasion and became Queen of Scotland.

November 17: Saint Elizabeth, in spite of her turbulent surroundings, grew up a very religious child with an evident inclination to piety and prayer.

November 18: Saint Rose, originally born in France, became Sister of the Order of the Visitation and led a missionary effort in the New World.

November 19: Saint Nerses I of Armenia was born of royal descent. He was the grandson of St. Husik, who was the grandson of St. Gregory the Illuminator who converted Armenia.

July 31: Saint Ignatius, formerly a soldier, founded the Jesuit Order, an institution that was to be instrumental in countering the protestant reform of Martin Luther.
