July 19: Well known as a holy woman and instructor of young women, Saint Macrina is honored as one of the most prominent nuns in the Eastern Church. Her ascetic way of life had a profound influence on her brothers.
June 14: Methodius originally sought a high political position for himself, but through the influence of a Holy Monk, he decided to abandon materialism and become a religious and founded a monastery.
June 15: Saint Germaine's mother died soon after giving birth to her. Her father had no love for her because of her disability, and her stepmother was especially cruel to her. 43 years after her death, her body was accidentally exhumed and was found incorrupt and flexible.
June 17: Albert became a well-know and rather popular artist, But he abandoned his art and became a Secular Franciscan to dedicate his life to helping those in need.
June 18: Saint Gregory, a Roman Cardinal, worked unceasingly toward the Counter-Reformation – a response to the Protestant Reformation specifying Catholic doctrine on salvation, the sacraments, and the Biblical canon.
June 19: One day, when Romuald was twenty, he saw his father kill another man in a duel. He fled to a monastery in disgust, and he stayed there for 3 years before deciding to travel, and spent the next 30 years building monasteries and hermitages in Italy.
June 20: Pope Saint Silverius was a Pope who defied the interference of secular, imperial authorities over the Catholic Church. He gave his life in year 537 and is now recognized as the patron saint of the island of Ponza, where he died.
June 23: Saint Thomas Garnet, Jesuit Priest who brought many souls back to the Faith, is included among the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales.

June 1: Saint Íñigo of Oña brought unity and accord to communities and individuals who had long been at bitter variance, and he tamed men of violent passions.
