September 5: From a young age, Saint Laurence Giustiniani had an innate attraction to all that pertained to God. He is also revered for his great works on mystical contemplation.
September 6: Saint Bega was revered her for her goodness and kindness, and she is still venerated in Northumbria and Scotland today.

September 9: Saint Peter Claver was renowned for his miracles, and converted many with his kind and caring ways.
September 10: In a small Italian town, a couple prayed for a child, promising to dedicate him to God if their prayers were answered. This child to be born would be Saint Nicholas of Tolentino.
July 21: The Christian army was outnumbered four to one by 80,000 Islamic Turks. Saint Lawrence led the charge holding a crucifix and won the battle.
